Job Description:

As the Account Manager – Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the ecommerce operations of the company. You will have the opportunity to shape and implement strategies to drive online sales and enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing key ecommerce platforms, and continuously optimizing online performance.

Base salary range: 120,000 to $140,000
Benefits include: bonus up to 20%, 401K matching, 3 weeks vacation

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s ecommerce buying vision, strategy, and goals
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure alignment
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Implement innovative initiatives to drive online sales and increase customer engagement
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to guide decision-making
• Ensure a seamless and secure shopping experience for customers
• Oversee inventory management, pricing, promotions, and product presentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in ecommerce strategy role (B2C/DTC preferred)
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and technologies (shopify, etc)
• Analytical mindset and ability to use data for decision-making
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience managing a small team
• Previous experience in consumer products and working with Asian vendors

Desired Experience:

• Experience in driving online sales and improving conversion rates
• Extensive knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies
• Understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies
• Experience with web analytics tools and data-driven optimization
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
