Financial Analyst – Walmart

About our client:

Our client has been supplying consumer goods to nationwide retail chains for over six decades. They are a family-held company that has risen to be the #1 supplier in their category. They boast licensing agreements with some of today’s major brands and figures. They are based in the heart of New York City.

 

About the role:

As a Financial Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include applying payments, resolving discrepancies, managing returns, and building strong customer and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply payments, resolve discrepancies, and manage returns.
  • Research and dispute chargebacks.
  • Ensure compliance with vendor/retailer requirements.
  • Reconcile accounts and process write-offs.
  • Perform general invoice disputes and payment follow-ups.
  • Post cash, respond to inquiries, and prepare account analyses.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Walmart and other retailer accounts on AR/AP processing.
  • Retail Link experience with payment portals.
  • Familiarity with Walmart dispute processes.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
