They have worked with retailers from all over the world, including Walmart, Home Depot, Aldi, Lidl, Target, and Kmart.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our US Retail business. This critical role will oversee all aspects of our retail operations, including sales, merchandising, and category management across major retailers such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and others. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, building high-performing teams, and navigating the complexities of the US retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive US retail strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Sales Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and others.
- Category Management: Optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and profitability.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee supply chain operations, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to retail stores.
- Financial Performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Team Development: Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of retail professionals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- International Collaboration: Collaborate with our Asian manufacturing teams to optmize production, sourcing, and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in the consumer goods industry, with a strong focus on retail sales and team management.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Retail Expertise: Deep understanding of the US retail landscape, particularly Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Target.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- International Experience: Experience working with Asian manufacturing teams to optimize production and sourcing.
