About the role:
This person will work with the Team Leader, Supply Chain, Clients, and Walmart to provide replenishment and analytical support for the Company Customer Team. Approximately 70% of the time is focused on replenishment and 30% on business analytics. This individual will identify and communicate replenishment, sales issues and opportunities and enable the team by developing and providing proactive comprehensive analysis to take advantage of distribution, pricing, promotional, and competitive opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access, analyze, and interpret business indicators of shipments, share, consumption, promotional efficiencies and effectiveness. Generate reports and make effective recommendations to:
- Demonstrated ability to create incremental volume via sales analysis
- Support fact-based selling needs of the team
- Identify key insights on the business and share recommendations with the team and clients on a regular basis
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and industry trends
- Develop a strong, collaborative relationship with Walmart Replenishment Manager
- Educate and equip our client partners on all Walmart programs, new requirements, andother functional areas within Walmart’s total supply chain process
- Assist the Team Leader with presentation development, budget tracking, and volume opportunities, coupled with the necessary sales support materials.
- Communication of fact-based, action-oriented weekly sales executive summary reports to all key clients and supporting the Team Leader in the weekly client sales reviews.
- Tracking of promotional volume and the development of recommendations to drive the business promotionally based on past experience and current trends.
Qualifications:
· Education and Experience Desired: * BA/BS desired, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Finance
· 3-5 years in a combination of replenishment and sales analytics, focused on developing base POS and revenue reporting
· Ability to analyze POS sales and shipment data. Determine and communicate meaningful insights to Walmart sales team. Learning how to work and navigate in systems.
· Strong analytical and cognitive skills.
· Fluent in Walmart Compliance programs to include OTIF, SQEP, Fixit
· Maximize On-Shelf Availability via best-in-class in-stock levels, fill Rates, and forecast accuracy
· Entrepreneurial and Proactive in communication
· Ability to develop selling presentations to support customer appointments in PowerPoint or MS Office Products based programs
· Strong organization, communication, math, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient computer skills and strong technical skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Luminate.
