
About the Role:
Manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and support business needs by collaborating with sales and merchandise teams. Analyze sales trends and demand forecasts to adjust replenishment strategies, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, generate performance reports, and recommend operational improvements. Coordinate with procurement to establish ordering schedules and maintain supply chain efficiency.
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (full time in office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid overstock situations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to determine replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust replenishment plans accordingly to maximize profitability.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory performance, replenishment metrics, and suggest operational improvements.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and facilitate efficient inventory control.
- Work closely with the procurement team to establish proper ordering schedules and maintain effective supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including sales and merchandise teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or inventory analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (Retail Link, Scintilla, etc) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven experience in a replenishment or inventory analyst role on the Walmart or Sam’s Club accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Experience in forecasting and demand planning methodologies.
Salary & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $85,000-100,000, commensurate with experience.
