About the Client: 

Our client is a home decor manufacturer headquartered in Los Angeles. They specialize in curated collections of on-trend product for the North American home décor market. They produce thoughtfully curated product assortments based on precise selling data and market trends. Their product design and sales teams are among the best in the industry and have been supplying the home décor market for more than 25 years.  In addition to working with top artists, publishers, and designers in the industry, their in-house design and product development teams ensure they have complete control over the manufacturing process. 

Job Overview:

The Sales Director will serve as a critical leader, responsible for driving revenue, margin, and customer growth for assigned US business accounts.  The role is responsible for achieving national sales goals and forecasts, building and executing sales strategies, and collaborating with product development. 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Facilitate and support growth in sales revenue 
  • Lead sales and product meetings for key accounts and opening new accounts  
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to drive sales for immediate and future opportunities  
  • Utilize fact-based selling by completing market analysis and identifying trends in the industry  
  • Contribute to the growth of the company with product ideas and direction from your account base  
  •  Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule  
  •  Responsible for managing customer P&L as well as expenses/deductions of accounts  
  • Domestic or International travel as needed   

 

Qualifications: 

  • Sales experience to national retail accounts in the home décor category (Ross, Burlington, TJX, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target, Lowes, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • The ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop a selling strategy based on this analysis 
  • Self-starter 
  • Experience with omni-channel is a bonus 
  • Collaborate with multiple areas within the company, including product development, manufacturing, and other sales team members. 

 

Salary and Benefits: 

  • Base Salary: $ 140,000 – 155,000
  • Annual Bonus up to 20%
