About the Role:
The Ecommerce Manager is a key driver of digital growth for client brands across Walmart and Sam’s Club. This role leads the development and execution of retail media strategies while also driving the full digital shelf, from content optimization to marketplace operations. As the day-to-day owner of initiatives that increase sales, boost conversion, and enhance the customer experience, the Ecommerce Manager plays a critical role in delivering results that align with core values and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Media Management – Drive strategic planning, execution, and performance optimization of retail media campaigns to deliver measurable results and growth.
- Campaign Strategy & Setup– Develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies on Walmart Connect. Own campaign setup from end to end, ensuring flawless execution aligned with client goals and timelines.
- Campaign Management– Leverage advanced ad-tech tools to actively manage and optimize live campaigns. Continuously refine targeting, bidding, and creative elements to maximize performance against client KPIs.
- Campaign Reporting & Insights– Deliver clear, actionable reporting through daily, weekly, and monthly performance updates. Provide data-driven and proactive recommendations to enhance results and inform strategy.
- Client Business Growth– Identify white-space opportunities, build strategic roadmaps, and deliver KPIs that expand clients’ e-commerce revenue.
- Client Relationship Management– Act as primary advisor; run regular business reviews, strategy sessions, and new-business pitches.
- Content & Assortment Health– Conduct competitive audits, maintain accurate online assortments, and execute best-in-class PDP content that meets SEO and UX standards.
- Marketplace Operations – Oversee item setup, launches, inventory, promotions, and monthly business plans to hit sales and margin targets; manage cross-functional partners to keep operations smooth.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years proven success planning and optimizing retail-media campaigns (Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads).
- 4+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience in a retail environment, preferably with Walmart, Sam’s Club, or Amazon.
- Strong analytical chops—comfortable translating data (Retail Link, Luminate, Google Analytics, Circana/Nielsen) into action.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, UX, product attribution, and compelling copywriting.
- Executive presence with excellent presentation and cross-functional influence skills
- Technical proficiency with MS Office, marketplace portals, and ad-tech tools (Skai a plus).
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Salary & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $70,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience
